July 5, 2006 - After a wonderful post on BoingBoing, we experienced a great deal of traffic. Too much for our host's servers to bear, so we have been kindly and swiftly moved to a new server at the same host, and we're back up and running smoothly. I just want to thank these first important users who have already spent a great deal of time going through the site and correcting typos and adding links. I can tell this is going to be a great, collaborative work.
August 8, 2006 - The whole site has been updated so we have original text displayed below new text additions. This should make it easier to update. We've also created a Fuck This City Template to make it easier to add cities to our list. The new Introduction has been written. Doctormatt was added as an admin, and his very generous dedication of time and effort is appreciated. We should begin rolling the site out to even MORE AND MORE forums/lists/blogs/groups for more content.
March 22, 2007 - The wiki has been moved to a new clustered host, and we've added forums.
Jan 2008 - The Alpha Release is now available in PDF and ODT for your printing, editing, and offline viewing needs.
February 19, 2008 - Boingboing.net story on our alpha release
May 5, 2008 - Steal This Wiki included in the bibliography of Cory Doctorows book Little Brother http://craphound.com/littlebrother/
