Do you want to be an editor, too? You can start by checking out this post at our forum, which describes next steps, including the role of editors.
If you are interested in working on specific sections, please navigate to those sections and claim the page(s) in the Discussion tab. Disputes over pages will be handled by tests of fire and torture.
What are Editors?
Editors are responsible for copyediting, accuracy review, and consistency of style. Normally, a good editor will be someone with a great grasp of the English language and above-average writing skills.
Who can be an Editor?
Anyone who wants to be an Editor can claim that role in the discussion page for a section or chapter.
What will the Editor do?
Within the general timeline of the General Plan, Editors will work to make each article the best it can be. They may work with Researchers or other users, and they will certainly work with other editors. The formal Editing Stage will be relatively structured, but we're not there yet, and prior to that stage, any and all editing is welcome and appreciated.
Will Editors be credited?
Yes, based on their own preferences. In fact, all users, Researchers and Editors will be given credit depending on their preference. We want to give all due credit.
