A Word About Youth Hostels
Hostels are all over the planet, with cheap beds and lots of amenities, but only if you have a foreign passport and/or a valid student ID card. A good move would be to sign up at a local college for just enough courses to qualify as a "full time student" and get your card. You can also get an International Student ID card if you meet the requirements (http://www.isecard.com/ - http://www.myisic.com). Take the courses while you're signed up. A good education can be both a valuable asset and a powerful weapon.
Rainbow Family
If you'd like to travel with a group, consider joining up with the Rainbow Family. You might find a caravan by attending your local Gathering and asking around. For more information, try http://www.welcomehome.org/rainbow/index.html or welcomehere.org/
