I don't know where these prices came from, but where I live even if you knew the person growing you would not get prices that good for shit weed. The price is very dependant on the quality, an ounce can be anywhere from $40(shit) to $400(awesome dank) an ounce (4 ounces in a quater-pound(QP), 8 ounces in a half-pound, 16 ounces in a pound). A pound of even shit weed for $500 is a very nice deal. I cant be positive though about incorrectness these prices, maybe the prices come from Mexico, or in Canada where supply is greater.

I've never heard of using blacklight to check the quality of cocaine, but then I've never had much to do with it. I know I've heard that you can heat it to a certain point and at a certain temp. the cocaine will melt but usually the added stuff will melt out before hand. Most people I know that use cocaine use the tounge test or just use it.

I do not condone the use or distrubution of drugs.

I added my own prices from personal experience in Pounds, it would be cool if someone else could add dollars and more drugs to the mix. (Please don't find the exchange rates and do it that way, it would be inaccurate) Yonderb0y

Prices for some common drugs in the US (southeast) pills:

 xanax $5 a bar (2mg)
 oxycontin usually number of mg = price in dollars so 40mg pill is $40
 soma $2-2.5
 adderall(speed) $2-3 a pill but lots of people have adderall scripts and its usually pretty easy to find a friend with one and get then to give you some
 ritalin same as adderall
 percocets usually the same as oxycontin
 hydrocodone (lortab, vicodin) is usually $5-$8

weed: $40-$380 an ounce depends on quality and avaibility cocaine: $50 a gram $60 for really good stuff $120-$130 a 1/8 X: $5-$25 a pill depending on avaibility Acid: $5-10 a tab depending on strength -ewhitehead

blacklight?

I can't find anything on the web supporting the black light method to check for cocaine impurities (besides copies of Steal this Book). Can anyone verify (with references, please) that this is actually a useful method? Doctormatt 17:21, 8 October 2006 (PDT)

Hypocrisy?

Isn't there a bit of hypocrisy involved in talking about how people who get burned on heroin and speed deals deserve it and at the same time talking about the production of crack in a non-condemnatory way? Crack is just as screwed up as speed and arguably less so than opiates. I personally don't mess with any hard drugs whatsoever but it seems like hypocrisy to talk about one of the worst hard drugs in a non-judgmental way and talk about another in an extremely judgmental way. Crack and speed are both really bad drugs, heroin is a bad scene and I wouldn't do it but it couldn't be considered in the same category as crack.

this page does need editing, as it was too far updated before i switched the format to show new vs old material. i dont think we should distinguish between "hard" drugs and "soft" drugs. all drugs are drugs and can be taken in their own version of moderation for whatever version of kicks each user desires. our job isnt to judge, it's to inform, with a bit of insight and humor. the real distinguishing factor between hard and soft drugs isnt the drug itself but the way in which it is used. and a large part of that is the way in which it is purchased or produced. fyi, please sign (if you're able) comments in the talk pages, so it's easier to keep track of conversations. thanks. anyway, if you'd like to be an editor for this page, you're more than welcome. --firsty 08:12, 28 December 2006 (PST)

LSD

Is it still almost impossible to get acid in the US? When I had to bail in late 2003 it had been alomst a year where I had trouble finding.

It's my understanding that the DEA busted 2 of the 3 main people producing LSD in America. From what I've heard avaiblity is going back up due to people making and it and distrubuting locally.

does the old hit-o-acid behind behind a stamp on a postcard still work? or is there a way the post office sniffs it out.
