partisan politics are part of the deal. if we cant refer to cops as pigs and we dont believe that bush is, for instance, a criminal, then we're not really sticking to the spirit of the thing. i hope this doesnt offend anyone. however, we're not doing this in order to create a neutral text. this isnt an encyclopedia, but rather a version of "steal this book."

root Heating oil=diesel fuel not sure what the prob is, I used to work in a bio deisel co-op so the chem about cracking was right on, a regular diesel just cant run on veggie oil, its your wiki propogate what you wish

root If you are referring to spelling errors I belive we might have been editing the page at the same time, I had some trouble posting check timestamps vs european time zones.....

RE: Americans vs People. please bear in mind, all editors, revisors, etc., that while we understand that Americans dont run the world, most the content in this book is centered on American life. It's also important to point out that, outside of America, plenty of cultures DO see the value in rebuilding cars. Thats not to say that edits shouldnt be made so that the book avoids sounding ethnocentric, but we should keep in mind that most of the specific laws, cultural norms, etc., that we are attacking here, are American, or western.
