Talk:Squatting
From Steal This Wiki
This text was so good and useful I decided to import it whole into the wiki. We now need to update or add useful information as needed, this ties in well with low impact crashin so cross linking would be good.
where did all this information come from? if it's from a source that wasn't specifically whoever posted this, we can't have it up. if it's from another source with free rights to copy and redistribute, then it's fine, but we should link to the original source.
i also noticed that some passages directly state that it's outdated. why is this here?

As with all the information in this work (STW) age will invalidate some of it, this book is from a public domain repository which is given in the intro. The origonal source as noted is a book printed for squatters in the 80's. Since we will be editing the text feel free to snip the parts that you feel are of no use anymore. The survival and US legal information is so invaluable I posted the text as a whole. I am trying to contact the author to obtain the comic book art that accompanied the text.
Can a US resident please call and verify the New York numbers listed and update that part to reflect 2007?
One of my emails has yeilded a PDF of the raw text but it does have the comic book cover. Do we want to do our own smaller squat section and offer the PDF for download?
Horay, finaly got the comic book cover sent to me!
The bed section is a bit long, should it go to [[Free Furniture}}?
- Yes - that should be under [Free furniture]. I will move it myself.

"Original Content"
The information is not "Original Content" as it did not come from STB. That section should be renamed to reflect its source. Jedite83 23:55, 15 December 2007 (MST)
