One of the largest new groups of people in dire need of help with daily survival are our veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. This should list all resources available to those citizens, in addition to everyone else in the country affected by our shortsighted economy. --firsty 14:36, 5 July 2006 (PDT)

For this section in general, keep in mind another Dylan line: "To live outside the law, you must be honest." This means that our promoted freebies, while designed to bring down the system, must also consider the fact that we dont want to bring down our fellow revolutionaries. We should consider as few degrees of separation as possible. This means, for instance, that stealing a tip off a table is not a good idea, because it directly harms the person receiving the tip, who falls into the category of a wage worker and possible revolutionary (which is why we rolled back that edit on the Restaurants page). The same goes for the Cycling page, where the writer correctly noted that we should not be stealing from fellow self-fuelers.

An argument can be made that, for instance, stealing water from a grocery store ultimately hurts a revolutionary wage worker by causing his owners (the company) to raise prices to compensate for stolen goods. This is more than one degree of separation, however. And is therefore ok, because the argument that stealing ultimately hurts the worker is flawed, based on the fact that the owner needs to punish the workerr for something the worker didnt do. This brings down the system. Which is the intent. --firsty 07:06, 21 July 2006 (PDT)
